Cross Screen filters are used to create a 4-beam flare on light spots. They are effective when shooting night illuminations, reflections on water, light leaking through leaves, and other scenes with tiny light sources. The Cross Screen 8 filter adds an eight-cross flare to very bright areas, giving a soft-focus effect.
